BLACK FOREST CAKE

INGREDIENTS:

FOR CAKE:

All purpose flour(maida)-1 1/2 cup
Milk(should be in a room temp)-1 cup
Cocoa powder-3 tbsp
Baking soda-1 tsp
Baking powder-1 tsp
Vanilla essence-1 tsp
Butter/veg oil-1/2 cup
Sugar-1 cup
Salt-1/2 tsp
Eggs-3
For grease-butter or cooking spray

FOR FROSTING:

Heavy whipping cream-1 pint
Sugar-1/2 cup
Vanilla essence-1 tsp

FOR TOPPING:

Grated Chocolate-1 cup
Cherries-1 can(I didn't found cherry,that's why I used rasberry)

FOR SYRUP:

Water-1 cup((you can use water from cherry can also)
Vanilla essence-1 tsp
Sugar-1/2 cup
Rum-1 tbsp(optional)

METHOD:

FOR CAKE:

1-Take a bowl,place eggs,sugar,butter/oil in it and mix well,until sugar dissolves.
2-Then add all dry ingredients(flour,cocoa powder,baking soda,baking powder and salt) in a separate bowl and mix together
3-Then add milk and vanilla essence,again mix the batter well.
4-Add dry ingredients little by little with wet ingredients and mixing it all the time.

SWEET LASSI

Lassi is a popular and traditional yogurt-based drink which originates in the Punjab regions of India and Pakistan.
It is made by blending yogurt with water,ice cubes,sugar and fruits.
So let's start....


INGREDIENTS:-

Chilled thick Yogurt-1 1/2 cups
Chilled water-1/2 cup
Rose water-1 tsp
Sugar-4-5 tsp
Salt-2 pinch

FOR GARNISHING:

Grated coconut-1/2 cup
Sweet cherry-1 tbsp
Cashew nut-1 tbsp
Raisin-1 tbsp
Bournvita-2 tsp(optional)
Rabri/condensed milk-2 tbsp/2 tsp(optional)

METHOD:-

1-Take yogurt,water,rose water,sugar and salt in a blender.
2-Blend all till the yogurt is evenly blended.
3-In a tall glass pour the lassi to 3/4 th of the glass.
4-Garnish with coconut,cherry,cashew nut,raisin,bournvita and rabri/condensed milk.
5-Serve chilled.
