GOBI AALO MASALA



INGREDIENTS:-

Cauliflower-1 large(leaves removed and cut into small florets)
Boiled Potato-2 large(peeled and cut into cubed)
Chopped onion-1 large
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tbsp
Chopped tomato-1 large
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Cumin powder-1 tsp
Red chili powder-2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Bay leaf-1
Dry red chili-1
Sugar-a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves-1 tsp

METHOD:-

1-In a pan heat oil,add bay leaf,dry chili and cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
2-Then add chopped onions and fry till it turns golden brown,add ginger-garlic paste and fry till oil starts to separate.

3-Then add salt,sugar,coriander powder,cumin powder,garam masala powder,chili powder and turmeric powder and mix well.


4-Add chopped tomato and cook for 5 mins for it to soften.Then add the cauliflower florets and fry,stirring,for 10 minutes.


5-Add the potatoes,cover and cook for 10-12 minutes,until the vegetable are tender.Add a few tbsp of water(ensuring that the mixture doesn’t stick to the pan)


6-Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
