Okra/Lady's finger/Bhindi is a popular health food due to its high fiber, vitamin C, and folate content.Okra is also known for being high in antioxidants. Okra is also a good source of calcium and potassium.
Thick yogurt(dahi)-2 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Kasoori Methi Leaves-1/4 tsp
Roasted Cumin seeds powder-1/2 tsp
Chili powder-1/8 tsp
Black pepper-2 pinch
Gram flour(Besan)-2 tbsp+2 pinch
Corn flour-2 pinch
Salt to taste
1-Wash the okra(bhindi) in water properly.Wipe them dry with a paper towel.Cut top and tail of the bhindi then slice from center.
2-In a bowl mix yogurt,gram flour,ginger-garlic paste,kasoori methi leaves,roasted cumin seeds powder,turmeric powder,chili powder,oil and salt,make a smooth batter.
3-Put okra into the batter and toss until all the okra is well coated with the batter.
4-Grease one microwave plate and arrange okra/bhindi pieces in one layer.
6-Microwave for 2 min 30 sec...then dip 1 fork into oil and with that turn them other side.
7-Again cook for 2 min 30 sec.Let them cool for 10 mins.
8-Transfer them into serving plate and serve as starter or side dish.
